LJ Hooker Goolwa looks forward to long and bright future with VitrineMedia and LED screens
Principal Peter O’Brien is all smiles when we make a surprise visit to his LJ Hooker real estate office in the South Australian settlement of Goolwa at the mouth of the River Murray.
“Thank you very much for your excellent technology and your equally exceptional service,” he says as he stretches out a welcoming hand.
It’s just a few short weeks since he relocated to new premises and, in the process, invested in the VitrineMedia backlit technology in the form of a large banner and nine A3 screens.
“While VitrineMedia is not the cheapest of available options, the punch it has given to our new window space leaves me with a warm glow knowing that what I have represents real value for money. I have absolutely no regrets about the investment we have made,” he adds.

“Indeed, the most pleasing aspect of an all-round pleasing experience is that locals who have been aware of our existence in the town for over 15 years are for the first time acknowledging the location of our agency.
“They’re approaching me on a daily basis to tell me how visually unique and eye-catching the display is and how it makes the product we sell stand out to passing motorists and pedestrians alike.”
Peter, who started his career in retail before branching into real estate in neighbouring Victor Harbor some 15 years ago, has spent the last nine years as principal of LJ Hooker Goolwa and the installation of the VitrineMedia product in late August 2018 has allowed him to tick a box he has been eying since he first bought the agency.
“Back then and in the previous premises, we inherited the old card window displays and while they did a fair job, I know from the moment I discovered and researched the VitrineMedia backlit LED screens that I was looking at something special.
“The extensive VitrineMedia range is also a major plus as it supports various window layouts – something particularly beneficial in our case as the new premises is over 100 years old and heritage listed, with a large and not-to-be-altered 12-pane window.
“That each pane is slightly larger than A3 has allowed us to straddle the large banner and its corporate message across the top three, with the remaining nine panes each housing an A3.
“You could say it was just meant to be!”
Peter is also highly complimentary about his entire VitrineMedia experience, praising the company for what he terms “excellent service and professionalism.”
“From my first call, through the documentation process and onto offering an accommodating payment arrangement that allows us to amortise the cost over a number of instalments, the service has been fantastic.
“And since the displays went in – again on the day promised and without a hitch – the follow-up has been superb.
“It is clear that VitrineMedia is not a ‘set and forget’ kind of company. They are with us for the long haul and I am very excited at how our future partnership will evolve as we work together to use the backlit LED screens to capitalise on tactical promotional opportunities and maximise their power of persuasion.
“I can only repeat what I said at the outset: Thank you very much, VitrineMedia!”
